Brantford Transit Eye

The City of Brantford asked my team and I to incentivize eco-friendly behaviour in Brantford.

After researching we realized 42% of emissions in Branford came from transit alone.

Now that my team and I had transit as our main focus, I decided to conduct interviews with Brantford residents about their daily commute.I learned that the bus system was unpredictable and had inconsistent times of arrival. The residents were not sure when to leave for the bus stop and were confused on which bus to take. I presented this information to my team and we came up with the solution of The Brantford Transit Eye, a transit app which can find the quickest way to get to a desired destination.

I then made rough sketches for the app and decided on certain features the app should have, this included “favourite destinations”. After sketching I made high fidelity screens for the app including the profile page. The profile page has an accessibility option since it is crucial need for any design, and it allows all users to use the app with ease.
